Summer lazy chic.

If you're on the east coast this summer you're fully aware it has been blistering hot most of the summer. In most aspects of my life I'm minimalistic, especially when it comes to what I'm going to wear when the daily high temps are pushing 110 degrees.
I for one do not feel compelled to throw together an outfit that might look better, than what I actually wore, but makes me extremely uncomfortable. One of the things I find horrendous is carrying a big leather bag around when it's hot! Who wants to do that?!
So when it comes to how I'm going to take a few extra things I need to carry along with me, I look to an Agenda. Granted they are typically leather. But holding something no larger than my iPhone isn't as bad as carrying around a huge Leather bag that attaches itself to my leg every chance it gets. I now use a Louis Vuitton agenda with three credit card slots and two larger pockets to put cash and things. It's much more easy to carry around than a bag.
It holds all I need. Credit cards, cash, notes, pen and my iPhone stays in place inside of it when you close the clasp. It's definitely a great alternative,  especially for guys, who don't carry a ton of extra stuff.

The summer Fragrance!

It's that time of year again. New Summer new Smells with more cute Short shorts, tank tops, and aviators. I've got a new favorite. The hottest and newest fragrance is 'Spice-bomb' by Victor and Rolf. A sample was in my bag when I checked out at Nordstrom a few weeks ago, I fell in love with it and bought it. It has such a bold, playful scent. It's more "manly" than my personal favorite which is the Gucci pour homme sport. I typically like things more fresh and light like the Gucci. But Spice-bomb is not overbearing or to woody. I can't even describe correctly it is so good. I'll put it like this, the Gucci sport is something I would wear during the day going out to lunch and doing some shopping and the Spice-bomb would be my choice to wear when going out later that night. I normally don't wear more than one scent in a day but the Spice-bomb is a rule breaker. All in all it's perfection.

MUGLER Womenswear A/W 2012

Nicola Formichetti did a wonderful job at the Mugler show this past Wednesday. I don't pay to much attention to Womenswear for more than a few designers. Mugler is one of the few for obvious reason. I thought this collection was very good. I liked the use of insect wings on the nails (I'm sure Daphne Guinness loved that), the simple use of fur on the arms was interesting. What I found most interesting was the 3d effect by some of the pieces having fabric off of the dress and also having skin showing. Instead of everything being covered up. I feel this piece best exemplifies that. But I could never expect something so bland and dull from Nicola. Every collection has that one piece that is suppose to be the most outstanding or spectacular. The perfect example of that would be the suit that Polina Kasina wore in Alexander McQueen S/S 2010 show. In my case I found two pieces I though fit the bill. For my taste color blocking or mixing isn't a big deal. There are times I want a mix of colors or I want something to be similar but for the most part I like a look to be all one color. Obviously a black alligator skin suit would be one. This suit is fantastic. I love the cut shoulders and the heels are perfection.
One thing that caught me during the show was the heels had red bottoms. I would like to find out if those where made by Louboutin for Mugler but for now I'm assuming Nicola just decided they would have red bottoms. Now for the orange dress the first thing I thought of was Issey Miyake; I also like the shoulders just because they are rounded. I thought this style of heel from the collection was the best. They very simply came up around the sides of the foot and met back at the ankle exposing the top of the foot. What an awkward tan line that will leave.

Kermit Tesoro

It's no surprise heel-less high heels have become all the rage lately. I don't want to take anything away from the designers but in part Lady Gaga has been responsible. I'm seeing a lot of designers starting to do it! One designer I have been keeping track of is Kermit Tesoro. Like McQueen he has a thing with skulls! One shoe that I have seen all over Tumblr lately has a skull at the top of the heel. Skulls use to be exclusive to one crowd but it seems after the McQueen scarves became all the rage, skulls started to appear everywhere. I first saw his work thru Nicola Formichettis' online shop for 'Gilt Groupe'. Then again when  Florian Joyet used his heel-less shoes for Joyets' Spring/Summer 2012 show. Heel-less shoes have something about them that's makes you want to either put them on or stare at them for hours. They are mesmerizing and I love spikes so Tesoros' spiked version of the heel-less shoe, to myself, are perfection. He was also part of the amazing body suit that Lady Gaga wore
in her "Marry the night" video. Which I loved. I've read about his and have seen people call him "The McQueen of the Philippines". Time well tell if that's true but he's definitely a young designer I will be keeping tabs on to see what he has going on. I find it interesting how his shoes are not expensive. The black spiked, heel-less, are one of his most expensive and totally worth it at $1000. I think someone like him would make a great collaboration with a brand such as Prada. All the bright colors and flames. Everything great that Prada brings to the table with his innovation designs would make for a truly fantastic collection.

Nicola Formichetti

Christopher Makos for Interview Russia
Vogue Hommes Japan
This shot of the Nico Panda by Christopher Makos for interview Russia is just fantastic. Nicola Formichetti is by definition a creative genius. I had my first glimpse of Formichetti in 2008 when Ash Stymes was on the cover over Vogue Hommes Japan. But it wasn't until 2009 when I found out he styled Lady gaga for an awards show with dresses by Gaultier and McQueen. At that point I was hooked. His creative style is beyond amazing. I don't watch award shows unless Lady Gaga is there because I want to see what she is wearing. The same goes for talk shows. If she's there I'm going to be watching. The meat dress, the human embryo, the amazing music videos that are "Bad Romance", "Alejandro", "Telephone", "Marry the night" which had a very interesting clay "Muscle dress" by Leeroy New. It's all wonderful. I felt a since of validation after he put her in Paco Rabanne and only days before I raved about that collection. My favorite shoot to date that Formichetti has styled was a shoot for Supreme shot by the one and only Terry Richardson. So simplistic (kind of) it was just great. I don't condone biting a Birkin bag. I do condone going naked with a skate board in one of the most amazing pair of shoes known to man. The "Lady Vase" 17 inch high heelless heels created by none other than Noritaka Tatehana. The picture of Lady gaga is one from the shoot done by Terry Richardson with the the Noritaka Tatehana heels.
Formichetti has indirectly educated me on a few designers I have never heard of until he put their stuff in the online collection he did for Gilt Groupe.
Supreme by Terry Richardson
Thru Formichetti I have found people such as Kermit Tesoro who like Tatehana creates avant-garde shoes with No heel. I love them. I find them to be innovative. Not futuristic like some people to think. Just because something is new, cool and strange does NOT make it futuristic. I hate that word.I feel as if that word used in fashion is people saying our time isn't good enough for something or that it is to strange for today. In truth people need to stop being afraid of fashion. You don't have to go out like Lady gaga everyday but try something new, different, crazy!

A very fashionable holiday.

Givenchy

The holidays are fast approaching and I was asked about buying a gift for a fashionable person. Like most people we know someone fashionable and amazing with great style and a lot of whimsy! Sometimes it can be difficult buying a gift for them. But have no fear because it's actually really easy! You find the most success in rarity. You can go buy someone something fabulous and expensive but if it's easily attainable it's not as special. If you can get something rare it doesn't even have to be expensive that's what makes a great gift! For example you could buy an easy to get Louis Vuitton bag, not very exciting, and it will be a nice gift. Getting something as rare as like an alligator backpack from 'The Row' would blow them away. That doesn't mean anything you get them has to be rare. It's the thought that counts (kind of)! So pay attention if your best friend has been lusting over something every time you go to the mall with them buy them that! Just hope nobody else buys it for them also. A few great pieces would be the Givenchy barking dog shirt or scarf which ever you like. It is the must have T-shirt. It goes along with the idea something rare can be extra special. One of the best gifts you can give even if they already have one is a Alexander McQueen scarf. The McQueen skull has always been a huge hit. It is relatively obtainable but they are just so great nobody would be displeased with one.

Versace for H&M

About 3pm Yesterday I started seeing tweets about people lining up for their pick at the collection. I think the collection is great but I don't think it is worth spending the night in the cold streets of NYC. Then the people that are reselling stuff they just bought...
I read that someone bought a leather jacket for a hundred and fifty dollars then turned right around and sold it for eight hundred. That is not okay. I agreed with Tom Ford when he said he Didn't like to see people wearing something exactly the same as he had it on the runway. Now I'm sure some people are just a little over excited that there is finally something Versace that is more affordable. Moderation is key.
I'm not saying you shouldn't buy the collection. Because you totally should it's fantastic! Just don't go crazy. I ordered the silver tank top, leopard green shirt, black and white shirt and the black shorts which are amazing! I'm really excited because some of it is very summery and fun which I love!
If I were going to wear any of it I would go with the leopard shirt, short shorts and a nice cute pair of gladiator sandals. That is going to be just about all I wear in Italy next summer. I am just a little bit disappointed that there aren't any gladiator sandals like the ones from the Versace SS 2012 collection. I haven't been able to find them anywhere so my chances are still pretty slim seeing as they are still only available in one collection.

Arm Party! (The Man Repeller)

Leandra Medine is a fabulous blogger who coined the term "Arm party" I have always thought that wearing things wrist accessories could make or break you outfit and it does! Some people can do it amazingly well. Leandra is one of those people. I have never really worn anything on my own wrist other than multicolored friendship bracelets. Their is one bracelet I have wanted for years. The Collier de chien homme by Hermès! I just find it amazing. One day I'll buy the 18 karat gold version that cost 69,000 dollars. Even though it is made of gold the leather and silver one is just as cute! What are you suppose to do in the presence of a bracelet that cost more than most cars? But back to what I was trying to stay before I went on a tangent thru my fairyland. You can look good with bracelets or really bad... Accessories are important. You can (but should never) walk out in public with a Chanel bag and animal bracelets... Never. Things that don't mix: Couture and plastic/rubber.  This next piece by Hermès is on my personal must have list! I love it! My favorite colors are Hermès orange and yellow! So naturally I would love this. The first time I saw this on a man (it's made for women) was in a picture where he had it on one hand another type of bracelet on the other have and a Hermès belt on. Personally I would never wear a 'H' logo on my wrist and waist. To me it screams try hard... If you can really put a great outfit together you shouldn't have to rely on a designer for more than one piece. If you can't shell out anywhere from 500 dollars to 69,000 dollars on bracelets start small. Ralph Lauren has some great leather bracelet that are surprisingly cheap  some of them start at like 49 dollars! They actually have one I want.. It's a leather quad wrap bracelet and it's amazing.

Paco Rabanne.

I didn't even watch the Spring/Summer 2012 show until today but when I did I loved it! The whole time I was sitting watching it I was in love with the silvers and blue colors! The 2012 summer show looks like Alexander McQueen, Chanel and Giuseppe Zanotti had a fabulous baby and gave it to Manish Arora! I love studs! As long as they are used in moderation. Then you had the very closely put together almost pin like pieces. It looked like pieces of Raw crystals it was fantastic! However I did not enjoy the over whelming metal pieces. I thought they were a bit much. I respect them as a piece of art but they are so non functioning nobody would ever wear them.
Clearly there is McQueen inspiration here what's so great about it is how well it was carried out! People don't just go out and try to recreate something Alexander McQueen created... They can't. Usually. This piece just exemplifies how some people can get it right!
I love this dress because it is a more bold version of the simple Chanel dress.
Obviously I love the way Chanel does it but sometimes you want to wear a shimmering metallic dress! Adding some complexity, even if it's one outfit, makes you a bit more interesting. Especially if you don't go all out and crazy all the time. The dress on the left is a fantastic representation of my idea of adding a layer of originality and difference! I don't know what all that blue stuff is but I love it! I honestly think it's just something to make a simple dress pop and look amazing.. It does a really good job. If you went to a party in that I'm sure you would be the only one looking that amazing. Now on to the shoes. Normally I don't like shoes that seem to much like another designers shoe. I feel as if there was a bit to much use of inspiration. This collection of shoes did have some resemblance but they look better than just being copied and adding some minor detail and calling it your own. I thought the shoes from this show were fabulous! The whole collection was very robotic and metallic but the shoes were just great! I enjoy mechanical looking shoes. Who wouldn't want a pair of shinny silver snake skin heels like these? I also like the platform on most of them. There is texture with the bumps and spikes. You can see the resemblance to Zanotti but looking at the shoe you know it is Paco Rabanne.

Fall and winter Fragrances!

Pull out the cashmere scarves and your favorite trench coat. Cold weather is here and ready to play.
It's has been a very strange transition from summer to fall for me. I don't live where it becomes fall and then it's cold every day until April. Here it can be 30 one day and 75 the next. The weather might change but your fragrance for the season should not! Once again I have picked the best fragrances for this season. First the Gucci Pour Homme. I love this one because it is the regular version of my spring and summer time favorite the pour homme sport. Never wear summer fragrances in the winter. It should not be twenty degrees outside and you smell like a basket of fruit. That goes for everyone! Gucci almost always has really great fragrances and that makes it a bit easier to transition from one season to the next.
Winter was made for Burberry. You can't really go wrong with it. London is a really good all season fragrance or you can switch it up later with the Burberry Brit it's more of a late winter and very early spring fragrance. Brit would be great to wear to a New Years eve party!
Most of the Burberry would be good for winter just don't wear Burberry 'summer' when it isn't summer.
Bleu de Chanel. When ever I find something really specially and amazing in the fashion world I want to hold on for dear life. This is one of those things. Until something new, bigger and better comes out I will smell like two    things the whole year Gucci sport in the spring and summer. Bleu de Chanel in the fall and winter. There is something about it that just electrifies me. If you don't have it you need it and if you haven't tried it you should! Stop reading this and go buy it...

For women it's a bit different. Women should wear something floral NOT gross candy sweet. I don't really like that anyway but that's a summer thing... I fully support any woman who wants to wear Chanel 'Eau Fraiche' all year. I think it is one of the greatest fragrances ever. If you're going to wear it in the winter make sure it's very light. Gucci and Burberry are also very good choices for the winter. Gucci guilty is great for women. My favorite Burberry women's Brit Eau de Parfum.

Graphic Tees!

The summer is coming to a end. It's sad to say but it's the truth! Going over some things that managed to attach themselves to my body this hot summer.
I fell in love with graphic tee shirts very early in the summer. It all started while aimlessly looking thru tumblr. I good friend of mine posted a picture of these two guys and one had on this shirt. The picture to the left is what is on the shirt. The shirt was a limited edition made by 'Eleven Paris'. As you can see it has Anna wintour and Karl Lagerfeld on it. I thought it was really interesting so I searched it, found it and bought it all within the first 20 minutes I knew it existed. It is wonderful! I really like white tee shirts so wearing this wasn't a big deal. The first time I wore it was with tan shorts and Gladiator sandals! It was perfect! I felt like the design on the shirt gave me a little bit of an interesting factor. In the sense there was something on me to read and look at. Anyways thought it was great, bought it, wore it, love it, recommend it while it is still available. It is in the close out on their sit so hurry!
Now this shirt might seem a little familiar! I hope anyone who reads this recognizes the Chanel C's. I did! From the moment I saw this I loved it! Sadly in this picture you can't see it but it says "Saints Generation" above and below the C's. This shirt is made by a very trendy and Fabulous online store called "Break the Labels". When I first wore this shirt I went all Coco and wore black shorts and black Toms! I love it! When ever you are wearing something like this try and keep the colors like the main focus. The main focus of this is the black Chanel so naturally I wore black. At one point I never thought a graphic tee shirt could be fashionable but these very much are! So the next time you see one you like BUY IT!!! Take caution when wearing tee shirts to social gatherings or dinner party's. If you're going to a dinner party and you want to wear a tee shirt you better put some real thought into everything else or you're going to look like a jerk who people think doesn't care about where he or she is at. That is bad. Wear some nice loafers and a few wrist accessories and maybe black D&G shorts.
I hope you had a fantastic, fun and fashionable summer!

Back to realistic fashion.

With classes starting soon and fall weather soon to come it's time to get back into more covering
clothes. I like other people wear barely anything during the summer. It's so hot down here who wants to wear clothes anyway?! For just going out my summer fashion isn't very interesting. Really short shorts, Tee shirts, sandals maybe some kind of jewelry (nothing metal) and a summery scent. That's all. I'm a totally different person when it comes to fall and winter. I love these seasons and I spend all year looking and buying stuff just for these few short months. Summer is so simple so the fall gives me a chance to put my brain to work. (I work more on my outfit than I do school work) You can't achieve your goals unless you look good. Fall is all about layering and color coordinating. Layering especially if it gets as cold as it does here. Usually for the winter it's bright colored socks, jeans, boots, belt to match boots, dark button down, tie and a really warm coat; that takes a lot of brain power.
In case you haven't read any of my other stuff I'm going to add this. I have a strong hate for the classic Burberry check. It's not that I don't like it's the fact that people go and buy the classic check just so other people will know that it cost money... I hate that. It's called a 'label whore'. I also happen to love Burberry so I  stay away from the classic checks. So if you aren't obsessed with people knowing how much money you spent on something go for a less noticeable Burberry design.
J.Crew trench
Fall equals trench coat season. Trench coats are the one thing everyone must have! It doesn't matter how short, tall, big or small as long as it fits, you will look amazing, you should have no problem with it!
Burberry is the king of trench coats! Christopher Bailey is great at his job! I realize everyone can't run out and buy a 900 to 5,000 dollar coat! So I did some digging and found a trench that wasn't Burberry! To be honest I am having serious thoughts of buying this one myself! The coat I found was very simple (like all trench coats) made by J.Crew! J.Crew is great for just about anything. You can find just about anything to wear for any occasion in J.Crew! I chose this coat because it isn't double breasted. (double breasted is only good for pea coats). It also has that classic tan color that most people look for in a trench coat! I couldn't find the jeans he has on but they look amazing; I'm probably going to ask someone about them the next time in J.Crew! Bottom line J.Crew is a great choice for anyone who can't throw it down at Burberry. I am not saying that you can only look good buying the expensive brands. I'm actually saying the opposite. You never have to spend a lot to look good. Who ever says you have to shell out to look good is ridiculous; they have ego problems.

Winter boots!

It's almost that time again. Long pants, boots, scarves, cashmere sweaters and snow! I enjoy the summer but the winter is my favorite time of the year. Scarves and boots are the most enjoyable part for me. I like to just wear jeans, boots and a button down. Then from there I have to start progressively wearing warmer and warmer clothes. And by January I wear nothing but my hunter boots, plaid pants and a thermal jacket. It gets way to cold to look good... You can do a lot of different things with a pair of dark brown leather boots. Like these from Bluefly. Cole Haan brown leather boots! What could be better? I can't wait for the cold long winter months when it gets dark at 5pm and can wear them all day! My favorite thing to do is go shopping when it's snowing. Don't know why it just is; I like to be warm while doing it! The best advice I can give about winter fashion is nothing light colored!!! Don't ever wear dark brown or black boots with a light colored pair of jeans. It looks ridiculous. I always buy dark wash jeans but I make it a point to have them brand new looking when I wear boots. I have found Ralph Lauren jeans do really well with keeping their color. I always set the color in my new jeans so that the color will stay as long as possible. I did it to Ralph Lauren jeans and a pair of Rock and revival jeans; the Ralph Lauren pair stayed darker much longer. Light jeans are only good for the early spring. They have that look like you just pulled them out of the closet after a long cold winter. It looks good for a while but eventually it doesn't. Who likes jeans in the summertime anyway? I know some people do but I don't and I think people are stupid for doing it! For old times sake this winter I'm going to pull out my Favorite pair of Nudie jeans and wear them with my new boots!

Sunglasses!

I may not wear sunglasses very often but I know what looks good and what doesn't! My favorite pair of glasses I have seen all summer are these by Carrera! I really don't like sunglasses that don't have that little piece over the bridge to put a gap between glasses! One piece glasses DO NOT look good on men. They are totally fine for women but for men, no!

Tom ford makes great aviator glasses but this is a train wreck.. I hate glasses like this. They just look stupid! I don't know what he was thinking by making these. People walk around looking like aliens with this trashy style on their face.

I see sunglasses as the deciding factor on an outfit a person has on. If your outfit and glasses don't go together don't go out! They are on your face so it has to be perfect! If the colors don't match then you obviously need to change; that is why I don't wear sunglasses. It's hard to get a perfect match. I don't like my eyes to be hidden because People can't see my distaste in things if I have glasses on! I will have to admit I love Wayfarers. You can wear them with anything as long as the colors go together. I like to see a super modern outfit with Wayfarers. They give anything a laid back look. If you're going for the 60's look put on some shorts with a pair of leather loafers (no socks).
I love aviators they make me think of the beach. Just somewhere you don't have anything to worry about and just want to relax! See the difference in these two pair of glasses! Both Tom Ford. Love the bottom pair and hate the top pair!

Customer service!

Bonjour! Ca va? Ca va tres bien pour moi! Alright enough french. Hope everyone is doing well! I just got back from a well deserved vacation; tan and ready for more shopping! So this article doesn't have a lot to do with clothes but more of how we as fashionable people are treated in a store. So while I was on vacation I dealt with the nicest support team at 'Gilt Groupe' completely over twitter! They are so nice! I have always hated going into a store and being treated like I'm a burden on an employee! Seriously that is their job to help me! Get over yourself! At gilt it is so much better! Even though it is an online store their twitter workers are very nice and mostly comical! I had a conversation with one of them yesterday about writing a bill for New York City office buildings to have pools in them! You don't find nice people like that very often! Bluefly is another online store that has very nice people working twitter! I have noticed the more high end the store the nicer the employees are. Rude employees don't stick around long after dealing with me. I was in Urban Outfitters one day and this employee didn't say one word to me while I was checking out. Then I complained to the manager and she wasn't working there the next time I went in. I have had one bad experience with Nordstrom and the employee snubbed me! BUT I have a BFF employee there so he helped me instead! In stores like Burberry, Louis Vuitton and Gucci. I don't want to be kissed up to but it's just common courtesy for a store employee to treat a customer nicely! Helping tip: always go for the employee dressed the best! They usually know what they're doing.

Stripes #2!

J Crew blazer.
I received great feed back from the first article I decided to take a very sassy Fashionista's advice and write about more stripes! She said "I'm addicted to stripes. I'm digging neon accents. Not an 80's neon track suit but little bright neon pops!" We agree on almost everything fashion wise so of course I rolled with it! I couldn't find anything great for this post but I saw a few things and got an idea of what she was talking about and I thought it was great! For example I saw this blazer paired with jeans, tan heels and a neon belt! It was so elegant but it looked like the woman wearing it just threw it all on. The colors played really well. I suggest the whole outfit from J Crew. I have always loved neon colors but not till recently when the 2012 summer shows started I saw actual clothes that were neon that I liked. Normally I saw neon on like 12 year old kids walking around in skinny jeans! If you read my jeans article you would know how much I hate skin tight jeans. It looked so bad. Now I'm seeing people wear neon with a little thought put into it! I love it! Again I really don't like vertical stripes unless they are really thin or seersucker. Even the fantastic blazer above would look terrible if it was vertical. It's like looking at a wall. You look all over for something interesting but there isn't anything interesting to look at!!! So if you want some nice stripes for your summer and fall wardrobe go to J Crew!

Stripes!

This a very generic post about stripes. Nothing to exciting just good old stripes. So last Saturday I saw these strip V-necks that you see in the picture above; I thought 'I have to have these'! So I got them in white and black. This might come as a shocker but the very next day I had no clean T shirts besides the ones I had just bought (this happens more than I would like it to). So I wore the white one. A few hours later I get a surprise visit from my very pregnant sister! She asks me if I had lost weight. At first I was shocked because she has NO room to talk. I said "No, I'm just fat". She said that wasn't it and continued to go on and on about me looking thinner. I totally forgot that stripes are great for hiding that ridiculous fat that just sits there on your stomach and annoys you constantly. Any way the point is stripes are great! I have always loved plaid and checkered but never got into stripes till now. I will definitely add them to my fall wardrobe! I would suggest the same for anyone! Under no circumstance I mean that literally NEVER wear a suit that has vertical stripes the size of the ones in the picture. You would be hard pressed to find one I think. If you do DON'T pick it up! Leave it their and leave it to the mobsters from the 50's! If you like vertical stripes go for something light and summery like seersucker or a very thin line suit. A centimeter at the most!

How to wear white!

The other day my friend asked me if she could wear tan shoes with white. I said yes you can. when you wear something a bit darker somewhere it makes everything else look more polished and bright. Don't over do it with like white accessories, never wear all white and then black shoes. I like to wear a white shirt with tan seersucker shorts or solid white shorts with brown shoes or sandals. You just look brighter with something dark to play off of it. So yes it is okay to wear white with tan shoes. Besides I'm not a huge fan of white shoes. They get dirty And stay dirty; I don't like dirty shoes.

These are examples of the direction of color that I would take.  The shorts can go with something a little darker but if you wear a white shirt I do not suggest wearing black shoes. You will look ridiculous; for the sandals a creamy color goes well with the white and it's not to off white that it would look bad. If you have read any of my previous post you would know my obsession with leather sandals and these are a perfect choice!

Summer necessities

1. I am obsessed with gladiator sandals; these are great! You can get these at Aldo (my favorite shoe store.) Very soft and light weight. I don't normally like shoes without a heel backing but these are great without it! Perfect for the beach or the pool. Or do like I do and wear them in places you shouldn't and enjoy all the funny looks people give you!

2. Bumble and Bumble has the most amazing hair products! I love to use their grooming cream with surf spray! It makes your hair look really good without a lot of time or effort! I hear people gloat about how expensive the products they use are. My hair looks better than theirs and all I spent was 30 dollars!

3. This surf spray by Bumble and Bumble is the only type of spray I have ever put in my hair. It works so great with the grooming cream. It gives it that relaxed just back from the beach look and feel. It's especially great for women with long blonde hair. In my opinion blonde hair is the only color that looks good with nothing done to it.

4. I don't really see a point in wearing sunglasses unless you are at the beach or in the desert. I was shopping in Neiman Marcus yesterday and came across these glasses by Carrera! I tried on a few different pairs and feel in love with these. I didn't buy them because I couldn't decide between red or black! I think they are great! Even though I'm probably going to end up buying them in both colors! That's what is great about fashion you can have whatever you want in any color you want!

5. I enjoy cloth belts during the summer because they aren't as stiff and hot as a leather belt; they come in any color and design you can think of! This Paul Smith belt is especially great because it has a little leather and it's stripped! I love strips; Paul Smiths brand color!

Le magnifique Versace!

Versace
Although Gianni Versace and I only lived at the same time for a little over a year everything thing I have seen that he created was inspiring. Everything from tight red pants (which Donatella used Monday) to beach shirts with butterflies and palm trees. It makes me laugh to see that kind of stuff because I never lived in the 80's. I probably wouldn't wear it now but I feel like if I had lived in the 80's I would love it! Even on Monday's show there was influence from the 80's for example the way the pants get big around the hip and the shirt is so poofy around the waist totally 80's! (I think) I don't fully understand why I'm so obsessed with this collection. It might just be excitement coming out while waiting to see the collaboration between H&M and Vesace.  Kyle Richards said it best "if you put the word vintage in front of it people go 'ohhh I love that'. So my love for vintage Versace might be just because Gianni made it. I love Donatella she's all about sexy, gold, studs, spikes and lots of color. She is an amazing woman. I don't see a lot of female designers that like a lot of fierce and sexiness. I only own two pieces of Versace. It's about time I get more. Like a purple vintage sport coat. It's amazing! Understand that just because you buy something expensive and designer does NOT make it fashionable! Buy all the versace in the world if you want. Just if you don't wear it right it wont look better than something from a thrift store. Personally I don't think a brand should even have to put a logo on stuff. The item should market itself. On the other hand I know how you want people to know you worked for that Louis Vuitton or Hermes bag. Don't ever buy fake!!! I see people all the time with the giant CC Chanel bag and it's fake!! If you can't afford a Chanel bag buy something less expensive! Don't buy it just so people will see you have a Chanel bag. To put it all in perspective I love Versace!
